Crew Member Positions

Corps Members, with the guidance of experienced field staff, work together on conservation, reforestation, and recreation projects, while developing leadership skills and learning how to work as a team. Crews camp in the field for their entire session, traveling to a new project each week and recreating on the weekends. In addition to earning stipends weekly, participants make new friends, learn new skills, explore the outdoors, challenge themselves, and have a fantastic summer.

Crew Leader Positions

Crew leaders are responsible for safely completing conservation and maintenance projects to high standards by training, working with, and supervising crews of Deaf and Hard of Hearing youth or young adults. Crew leaders are expected to problem solve and motivate their crew to complete very physically demanding projects while managing the elements of the outdoors. Crew leaders are expected to set the pace and tone and are the hardest workers on the project site.
