Small foot problems can quickly become major challenges on the trail. This workshop focuses on preventing and managing common hiking-related injuries before they interfere with mobility or turn into larger problems.
Participants will explore practical approaches to foot care, blister prevention, footwear, hot spots, and other common issues encountered during hiking and extended time outdoors.

Workshop Presenter:
Sam (Marlo) Bragg (she/they) is a Deaf outdoor leader, educator, and accessibility specialist serving as the Field and Logistics Director at CorpsTHAT, a Deaf-led nonprofit expanding access to conservation careers, outdoor education, and leadership opportunities for Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals.
Marlo has over 13 years of experience in outdoor leadership, education, and accessibility. They are the first Deaf-certified Wilderness First Aid Instructor and specialize in creating more inclusive approaches to outdoor safety, risk management, and community engagement. Through their work with CorpsTHAT, national advisory councils, and outdoor industry partners, Marlo shares practical tools and strategies that help build more accessible, inclusive, and safer outdoor experiences.
