Join CorpsTHAT on our first ever Sol Fest Recreation Trip. This trip is intended as a way for us to provide more outdoor recreation experiences in ASL while fundraising for our annual Sol Fest: Trail-a-Thon.

Trip Details: 1-2 mile long backpacking trip to the Vermont Huts and Trails’ Grout Pond Hut in Southern Vermont. Participants will meet on Friday afternoon and review gear and any needed backpacking skills before they hike into the Grout Pond Hut. Participants stay for two nights with activities including hiking around Grout Pond to view CorpsTHAT’s Crew’s past work.

Up to 8 participants can join. This trip will be lead by two CorpsTHAT staff members and volunteers. Food, lodging and gear will be provided. Never backpacked before, that’s ok, this is a great beginner backpacking trip.

This trip will be conducted in ASL, if you are new to ASL that is ok as long as you are a beginner conversational level and whiling to maintain a signing enviornment.
