Partner Crew: Southeast Conservation Corps

Chattanooga, TN  |  Session 1: June 6th – 25th  |  Session 2: July 5th – 23rd

CorpsTHAT is partnering with the Southeast Conservation Corps to ensure more conservation job opportunities for Deaf youth in the Southeast region of the US.

The crew will work together to complete weekly conservation projects while also learn about leadership development, job readiness skills, and environmental conservation. This is a paid opportunity where Deaf and Hard of Hearing youth will get a chance to meet new people and make new friends during their summer break!

Southeast Conservation Corps, offers two sessions for their ASL Inclusion Crew, corps members are welcomed to apply to either session or both sessions.

Crew Leaders: 2

Ages: 21+

Dates: May 31st – July 23rd

Pay: $700/wk

Ages: 16-20

Dates: June 6th-25th | July 5th-23rd

Pay: $330/week

 

  • Crew members will camp with their crew for the entirety of the program
  • Projects will be completed in national forests, local parks or land trusts in the SE region
