Leave No Trace Awareness Workshop
Dates: October 26th from 7 pm to 8:30 pm EST
Have you always wanted to learn more about low-impact camping, hiking, or how to enjoy the outdoors responsibly? This introductory Leave No Trace course will provide you with a better understanding of the impact of recreation-related activities, the seven principles, and how Leave No Trace skills and ethics can help protect the outdoor places we cherish. We hope you’ll join our Deaf outdoor educator for this hands-on course on the seven principles of Leave No Trace presented in American Sign Language. Upon completing this workshop, you will be eligible for an LNT Awareness Certification from both CorpsTHAT and LNT.org.
All workshops are taught in ASL by a Deaf Outdoor Professional. We at CorpsTHAT believe that financial need should not be a barrier to accessing the outdoors. If you are Deaf, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled or Hard of Hearing please and need financial support to take one of our courses please email firstname.lastname@example.org for a scholarship application.
** Once registered you will receive zoom link and other workshop resources closer to the start date. Workshops will run with a minimum capacity of 3 students. If you register and on the start date of the course there are only 2 participants registered you will receive your money back, otherwise all sales are final.
