Backpacking meal planning might not be the first thing on your mind when planning for your trip, but it is one of the first things you will regret if you get it wrong. You want food that will nourish and strengthen you, and also taste good. Planning your meals might sound easy, but when you dig into the details, it becomes evident that there is more to it than making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. How much food should you take? How will you keep your taste buds excited after days or weeks on the trail? Take CorpsTHAT’s Backpacking Meal Prep course to learn about how much food you should bring, how to create a diverse menu, how to dehydrate your food, what types of food you should bring, and get the pro-tip on the logistics of planning for food for backpacking.
Backpacking Meal Prep will take place virtually. We are offering two sections to join: 4pm or 7pm EST please select which one you are registering for. Once you register and pay the registration fee you will receive access to the online materials and zoom link for the live virtual class date.
Registration fee is $15 for this course.
This course is intended for adults, if the participant is under 14 we request that an adult joins them, only one registration will be needed. If you are requesting accommodations for this course please request them two full business days before the course begins.
