Have you always wanted to learn more about low-impact camping, hiking or how to better enjoy the outdoors responsibly? This introductory Leave No Trace course will provide you with a better understanding of the impact of recreation-related activities, the seven principles, and how Leave No Trace skills and ethics can help protect the outdoor places we love. We hope you’ll join our Deaf outdoor educator for this hands-on workshop on the seven principles of Leave No Trace presented in American Sign Language. After taking the course, you will be able to apply what you learned at home or in the outdoors.

Leave No Trace 101 will take place virtually.  Once you register and pay the registration fee you will receive access to the online materials and zoom link for the live virtual workshop date.

Registration fee is $35 for this course.  Upon completion of the course you will be emailed your Leave No Trace Awareness Certification from the LNT org.

This course is intended for adults, if the participant is under 14 we request that an adult joins them, only one registration will be needed. If you are requesting accommodations for this course please request them two full business days before the course begins.
